Gp East is a private practice established in Kensington in 2008. There has been a general practice at our premises for over 40 years. We provide high quality personalised care for all ages and are committed to treating all patients with dignity and respect. Our dedicated staff, include General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, a Dietitian and friendly professional receptionists.
We are fully accredited with AGPAL and maintain standards set by Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). 
Our practice is committed to preventative care and undertakes ongoing quality improvement.
Appointments
Please phone for an appointment. We will give priority to emergencies. Let us know if you require a long appointment.
If you are concerned about waiting times, please ring the surgery before coming in .Telehealth appointments are available for existing patients.
After hours visits
For after hours home visits, call 13 7425 ( 13 SICK). These visits are bulk billed and we will be notified of details of your consultation. For emergencies call 000 or attend your nearest hospital Emergency department.

Gp East is fully computerised. Your medical record and personal information are confidential and security of  your records is maintained at all times. More information is available at www.privacy.gov.au
GP East is committed to My Health Record and can assist patients in understanding the benefits of My Health Record in improving patient care. We will respect your decision if you have elected to 'opt out'.

Feedback and Complaints
A suggestion box is available in the waiting room and direct contact with doctors and staff is appreciated. A complaints form is available from reception. Any complaints will receive our prompt attention or you may prefer to contact:

Referral and Repeat Scripts    
Please make an appointment if you are due for a specialist referral or a repeat prescription. Referrals are done in appointments so that an up to date medical summary can be given to your specialist. Email Policy
